The Lotus and the Wind by John Masters is a gripping historical adventure set against the backdrop of the British Raj and the shadowy frontiers of 19th-century India. Part spy novel, part philosophical journey, it follows Lieutenant Robin Savage, a solitary and introspective officer drawn into the perilous world of espionage during the Great Game — the strategic conflict between Britain and Russia for control in Central Asia. As Robin leaves behind the structured life of the army, he embarks on a dangerous mission into the mountains and deserts beyond the empire’s borders. Rich in atmosphere and psychological depth, The Lotus and the Wind is both a sweeping tale of imperial intrigue and a meditative exploration of identity, duty, and the yearning for spiritual truth.

Good all round condition, except the first two inner pages are a bit stressed from the original binding being a bit off and are more attached to cover than spine, but its very minor and everything else is good.hardly noticable really.
